DAVE SHARPE | UK GUIDE

Dave Sharpe is a IFMGA British Mountain Guide based in Chamonix, France.

Dave has been climbing for over twenty years and has skied for almost as long. He grew up in the Lake District in the UK, and now climbs rock, ice, and alpine routes in the UK, Norway and the European Alps. Although his passion is British winter and alpine climbing, his guiding career has taken him on expeditions in India and Alaska. Dave spends a large part of the winter off-piste skiing, ski touring and guiding. When he isn't working as a guide, Dave can be found working  in offshore rope access as an IRATA L3 supervisor.

Dave also writes a popular blog entitled On The Sharpe End which covers his adventures, snow and ice conditions reports, and gear reviews.
